About Me

My name is Lucia. I have a B.A. with Honours in German and Scandinavian Languages and Historical Linguistics from the University of Alberta. I worked as a full-time translator of Finnish and Swedish into English for ten years, after which I switched over to part-time translation.

Recently, I felt the need to quit translation entirely, as I discovered that I am much more suited to creative work than intellectual work and I began exploring my creative hobbies in greater depth.

My main passion in life is my spiritual path. Beyond exploring all things metaphysical, my main interests are writing, dancing, music (singing, playing and writing), making videos of beautiful nature and drawing designs.

This website will be the home for expressions of some of my creative interests–hence, “Lucia Expressions.”

This website will focus mainly on my designs. I make designs suitable for print on textiles for home interior decor. The link below will take you to a portfolio page with samples of my designs.
